| Design Development is the third stage in the design process and directly follows Schematic Design. (Many times there is not a clear line between these two phases). During this phase, the schematic design drawings are further refined to finalize spatial relationships, your program requirements, exterior form and mass, and overall architectural detailing for both the interior and exterior of the pool. At this point, preliminary plans will be drafted to reconcile the architectural design, so that all phases of design have been addressed up to this point. The Design Development Phase will consist of some minor design modifications, and is completed when there are no additional plan or elevation changes to be made. You will be provided with a color, computer drawn design rendering at the end of this phase. If applicable, coordination with any governing Architectural Review Board will occur concurrently with Schematic Design and Design Development. The pool will be designed in compliance with the Standards and Guidelines of the governing Review Board. Personal representation of the Architectural Review Board meetings will be provided. Design Review and Compliance fees will be paid directly by property owner. |
